Sir, I’d like to ask if there’s someway that you could reach to those former and current students of ParSci. Like in my case, only until now that I had the chance to read this post of yours. I believe that only a few of my batch mates are aware that this site or web blog exists and if we want to succeed in doing an action for this problem, we need your cooperation, the parent’s cooperation and we, the current ParScians cooperation. Yes, I may not be an alumni like all of you, but I know that if I were in your shoes I’d feel the same way. Nothing’s gonna happen if we just read this, comment about how we are frustrated with Sir Vibal and just wait for another person to post another opinion. We need action, we need action now.
In connection to the post found in the link above, I sent a fax transmittal follow-up last 17 December 2010 to the Parañaque City Schools Division Superintendent asking for the final written reply of Mr. Vibal on the issue and expressed hope that everything will be resolved by January 31, 2011. Of course, by “resolved”, there’s no other meaning but “restoration of the original logo or establishment date to 1990” and there’s no compromise.
I hope the current students (thru the Student Council) and your respective parents (thru the Parents’ & Teachers’ Association) will help us alumni by raising this issue to your OIC-Principal. Although we already presented him the copy of Ordinance 94-31, perhaps the Student Council and PTA could show it again to him as the best evidence with the highest probative value that will prove the legal and rightful establishment date of Parañaque Science High School. Help us make Mr. Vibal realize he committed a judgement error in replacing the school logo and by rewriting our alma mater’s history. The ordinance is found at:
By “Batch 20”, you actually belong to Class of 2013. Supposedly, you should belong to Vibal’s 1st Batch of alumni. But I am very happy you consider yourselves as the 20th Batch! I hope you will let the younger batches that will follow you know that they are the 21st, 22nd , 23rd batches and onwards. Thank you for your support!

I have visited the relocated ParSci building just recently. I thought that the new building would exceed my expectations, but it turned otherwise, especially the science lab.

If you know any other alumni who write on whatever topic but related to our school (e.g. yours is Chemistry, while others may be Math or something else), please tell them to share it and we shall gladly add a link in our website too.
And yes, the establishment of ParSHSAA is a previous work in progress that has not progressed recently. I hope to see a spark one of these days. Thanks!
Thanks for the info, Joey. It was indeed an eye opener. One of these days, really, ParSHSAA should re-organize to strengthen its position to help the school. In terms of lab needs, I heard of DOST having a program on this. I just have to double-check which one and how to tap it.
